Grass Roots are currently recruiting for a Statistician to collect, analyse and report on our product data. The Statistician will  join our highly skilled digital team where you will use your statistical and analytical skills to provide accurate insight to our Product Management division.

So who are Grass Roots? We are an incentive company with the widest range or rewards and benefits for employees and customers. We work with many of the world’s largest brands to enable them to connect with new customers, grow their market share, and enhance customer loyalty. This is a highly exciting time join us following the successful acquisition by Blackhawk Network last year meaning lots of investment and an even stronger business focus on data and statistics to continually improve our product offering.

The main focus of the role will be analysing consumer behaviour across our products and presenting the results of the analysis with recommendations to our product managers.  The type of analysis varies but will include key driver analysis, segmentation, customer lifetime value and attribution modelling.

Being able to integrate all our data sources (transactional, digital and surveys) is a key part of the role and so while you may not have had experience of analysing all these data sources, you should have an interest in understanding all of them.

Skills required for the Statistician role are:

  • University degree in a subject with high statistical content

  • Demonstrable experience of conducting segmentations and regressions, preferably using R or Python

  • Ability to present the results of analysis back to our product managers in a non technical manner

  • Ideally, knowledge of Google products such as Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console and Optimize

Location: Wendover, Bucks (Moving to Aplsey, Hemel Hempstead in April 2018)
