Account Director
Meetings and Events, Putney

We are looking for an Account Director to join our Meetings & Events division, working with a number of key clients across a range of industries and sectors. Meetings & Events have won some exciting new accounts in 2017 and we are looking for self-motivated candidates to join the dynamic account management team and approach the role with enthusiasm, passion and professionalism.
 
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of key established accounts and lead the implementation of a global account with an opportunity for growth through consistent engagement activity.  They will identify strategic development opportunities and design / deliver tactical communication and engagement campaigns. They will be able to identify trends and articulate recommendations to clients on continuous improvement of their programme through data insights analytics.
 
The role requires a confident self-driven individual who can take ownership and responsibility for the client relationship at all levels, while being able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and demands on their time.
 
They will be able to track & report on their account’s performance against agreed budget forecasts and ensure measures are in place to achieve/exceed revenue and appointment targets across their portfolio.
 
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience managing client relationships within an agency or hotel environment and be able to work with operational teams to ensure successful delivery to client. Ideally, they would have also been instrumental in pitching, winning and seeing through the implementation of a new account.  
 
Strong interpersonal skills are required to build upon our existing client relationships at senior levels across all areas of the accounts and identify development opportunities for growth in the future. Passion for face to face activity and relationship development with clients are essential to educate, maintain and grow client base within each allocated account.
